HUGE CROWDS FOR U12 MINI TOURNAMENT

North Harbour Water Polo U12 teams came together on Saturday 27th to play a series of games against our friends from Waikato Water Polo Club.

“It’s great to see some regular games for our teams” said Turtles coach Logan Geary. “Our players are learning so much when they compete against other clubs” said Octopus coach Nadia Pavlovich

Sarah Hoskin from Waikato felt the day had been fantastic for their teams that don’t get too much time playing other club teams leading up to the September tournament. “It is great that North Harbour hosted us for the afternoon and the kids loved the afternoon tea put on by parents of some of the teams. We all appreciated the time spent in ensuring our teams enjoyed themselves”. Next year North Harbour are going to visit Waikato.

It is plain to see that parents of U12’s are so keen on continuing with this age group so the club have put together a transitional clinic in term four that will assist the players with more skills heading towards our trials in February 2017.
